No player looks quite as jaded as the leader on their attack. Jamille Matt has plundered 12 goals for Walsall this term - twice as many as he registered in the previous campaign.
Only Nathan Lowe has found the net more frequently with a formidable tally of 18 across all competitions, before his recall by Stoke City in January left a gaping hole in the Saddlers' attack.
And perhaps no player has felt his departure greater than his former strike partner Matt. The 35-year-old scored nine of his 12 goals in his first 25 matches, with eight of those coming with Lowe by his side.
Since, Matt has found the net just three times in his last 17 matches and has scored just once in his previous 10.
