The award ceremony was hosted by Mark Chapman at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate as 3 Hammers saw the facility receive recognition for its 'exceptional commitment to inclusivity, innovation and community engagement.

First established in 1965, the complex features a par-3 course, Topracer driving range and Jurassic Creek adventure golf and provides a variety of ages.

Its Golf Academy has produced 30 professionals who work as PGA pros, club managers and green keepers, including Aaron Rai, who made his Masters debut on Thursday.

"It's a great achievement as we've always been pioneers for how we approach golf and how we look to grow the game," Sam Hill, business development manager at 3 Hammers said upon accepting the award.

"Our aim as a facility is to keep pushing forward, so to be the first facility to win this award, is something to be very proud of.

"We look at how we can reach out to the local community. It's a big part of our philosophy in how we engage and get more people involved in golf."
