To be honest, there was one or two. One of them was another impressive and eye catching display from the bench from January recruit Tammer Bany.
Hungry, aggressive, wanting the ball, wanting to make things happen. He was everything that some Albion players were not at Ashton Gate, and I doubt it will be too long before he is banging on Tony Mowbray's door for a start.
He has all the hallmarks of a fan favourite.
Knitting two issues together, some fans, among other issues stemming from Tuesday, called into question the squad, which is justified. But they also questioned recruitment.
However, Bany is another example of sensational recruitment from Bilkul. Their loans might not have fully hit the mark, with the likes of Uros Racic and more recently Adam Armstrong failing to hit their stride.
On free transfers, only Ousmane Diakite has made any sort of inroads since his arrival, and even ten his game time hasn't been as he would have liked.
But when it has come to spending money, they have struck the mark every single time.
Torbjorn Heggem, Callum Styles, Isaac Price and now Bany. Mikey Johnston cost £3m, but he arguably comes into a different category having been someone the club were well aware of from his loan spell.
But on the other four. Top level recruitment. It knits two topics together because many have been questioning the strength of Albion's squad, and it is right to do that.
However, if Albion's recruitment continues has it has been, certainly on a permanent front when spending money, then there may not be these big question marks about the squad moving forward into the future.
Bany is the latest example of that.
