Mowbray takes the Baggies to Bristol City's Ashton Gate on Tuesday night to face a Robins side who are a main rival in the race to finish in the top six.

Liam Manning's hosts have some form and momentum heading into the clash while Albion - who have won just once on their travels since September - are winless in four and continue to misfire in front of goal.

Mowbray has stuck with struggling loan frontman Adam Armstrong as the main striker in his side, with the deadline day recruit often flanked by wingers or with Karlan Grant or John Swift in support.

The head coach has repeated that using two out-and-out centre-forwards is not something he tends to do. Another loanee, Tottenham's Will Lankshear, and Daryl Dike, who has endured two years of injury hell, have been waiting in reserve for their opportunity.
