The Baggies head to Bristol City's Ashton Gate on Tuesday night looking to take back a place in the Championship's top six after the Robins snatched it from them over the weekend.

City and Middlesbrough climbed above Mowbray's Albion and Coventry into sixth and fifth respectively. Liam Manning's hosts are enjoying an impressive run of form and have momentum with just one defeat in nine.

Visitors Albion are hunting for some momentum having gone winless in four, including consecutive 1-0 defeats since the return from the international break. It is the first time the Baggies have fallen from the play-off places in three months at a time when games are running out, albeit Mowbray's side still have direct rivals to play, including Bristol City.

Albion have struggled with inconsistency this term, particularly away from The Hawthorns. There has been just one victory in front of away supporters - at Hull in November - since September. That is a desperate sequence of one win in 18 - 17 in the league.
