Rosa to face Deaville in Individual final
Adrian Rosa will take on Paul Deaville in the Staffordshire & West Midlands Snooker Individual final after both dominated in their respective semi-finals.
Rosa enjoyed a 4-0 whitewash against Andy Tapper, while Paul Deaville bounced back from going a frame down to Robbie James by hitting an 80-break and winning four consecutive frames.
In the Pairs Medley final, Ash Barker and Roman Hutchings will face Richard Davies and Darren Oakes after winning their respective semi-finals 419-279 against Rhys Lampitt and Richard Lampitt, and 349-312 against Jamie Harris and Danny Ludgate.
Hotshots are four points from confirming the Division One title after a 5-0 win at struggling Bilston Bowling Club A. Callum Downing, Faizan Mohammed, Karl Ashmore, Mark Ganderton and Paul Deaville earned the win.
Bilston Sports & Social are still fighting to escape the foot of the table. They defeated Shifnal War Memorial 3-2 thanks to just Karl Taylor and Graham Cole, as Shifnal did not field five players.
Relegation-threatened Landywood B hosted second-bottom Townsend Social and won 3-2 in a key game for their escape from the drop zone. Adrian Woods, Peter Strazzanti and Michael Beardmore won to put the hosts four points clear of the relegation places.
Joshua Walker put away an 81 break in Wednesfield Cons A’s 4-1 triumph against Charlemont.
Poets Corner A lost to Shifnal War Memorial B, Hotshots B won against Sedgley Ex Service, Landywood A defeated Baggeridge Social and Sedgley WMC fell to Stafford Institute – all four finished 3-2.
Poets Corner B sealed promotion after defeating Golden Cue at the bottom of Division Two, with to a 4-1 win courtesy of Pommy Kang, Richard Parker, Tony Walker and Darren Millard.
Stafford Institute B also secured promotion with their own 4-1 win as they defeated promotion-rivals Landywood C. Stuart Jones and Mike Wainwright won on the black, before Dan Batkin sealed the third-frame win. Darren Poutney won the final frame.
Pennfields are favourites for third place in the division, currently sitting nine points clear of Landywood C after a 3-2 success at home to Poets Corner D. Ash Barker and Roman Hutchings did enough to win, as the visitors were a player short.
Baggeridge Social B moved out of the drop zone, leapfrogging their opponents Landywood D with a 3-2 win and pushing their opponents into the drop zone.
Woodfield Sports & Social won 4-1 against Pennfields B, while Poets C beat Wolverhampton Electric 3-2, Landywood E defeated Poets H 3-2 and Codsall Firs A enjoyed a 3-2 win against Willenhall Liberal A.
Poets E triumphed 4-1 against Codsall Firs B to secure promotion to Division Two. They currently sitting four points clear at the top of Division Three thanks to Lee Peach, Brad Peach, Jonny Miller and Martin Peach.
