Just seven points separate eight teams from fifth to 12th - with the race set to provide many twists and turns between now and the start of May.
Albion are back in action on Saturday lunchtime as they face Sunderland in their latest clash. Their run does look like a tricky one over the coming weeks, but how does it compare to their rivals?
West Brom - Sunderland H, Bristol City A, Watford H, Coventry A, Derby H, Cardiff A, Luton H
On paper, Albion have a very tricky run in. Sunderland at home is the toughest but then two big away trips to Bristol City and Coventry are far from easy tasks.
If they can win one or even two of those, it puts big dents in the chances of those sides in the race.
And even though the finish sees three games against struggling sides, they are all in a relegation dogfight and are scrapping for points.
Coventry - Burnley H, Portsmouth H, Hull A, West Brom H, Plymouth A, Luton A, Middlesbrough H
Every side has tricky fixtures in the run in, and will face some of their play-off rivals. Coventry face Albion but until the last day, are facing sides either struggling or with nothing to play for.
They are still tough games, but you would back them to pick up points before a final day clash with Middlesbrough. If one of those sides is not over the line by then, it will be a tasty final day affair.
Middlesbrough - Blackburn A, Leeds H, Millwall A, Plymouth H, Sheffield Wednesday A, Norwich H, Coventry A
Another side with a tricky run of games. Blackburn, Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich represent play-off rival clashes, and they still have to host Leeds and head to Middlesbrough, before the final day at Coventry.
Albion's run is tough, but Boro's looks just as tricky if not harder.
Bristol City - Watford H, West Brom H, QPR A, Sunderland H, Luton A, Leeds A, Preston H
As you go down the list it doesn't get easier. The Robins face play-off rivals in Albion and Watford, before tough games against Sunderland and Leeds.
The one thing in their favour is a last day clash with Preston, who have next to nothing left to play for.
Watford - Bristol City A, Hull H, West Brom A, Burnley H, Portsmouth A, Blackburn H, Sheffield Wednesday H
Another side that can take points off rivals, as Watford face Bristol City and Albion. They then end the campaign against Blackburn and then Sheffield Wednesday, in what could be two huge clashes.
Norwich - Plymouth A, Sunderland H, Burnley A, Portsmouth H, Millwall A, Middlesbrough A, Cardiff H
Again, a tricky run with a difference. Sunderland and Burnley are never easy. Portsmouth are safe, but Millwall, and then a finish against Watford and Sheffield United could be tough.
Blackburn - Middlesbrough H, Sheffield Wednesday H, Luton A, Millwall H, Sunderland A, Watford H, Sheffield United A
Rovers have slipped under Big Val, and now they face a difficult run in. Play-off rivals in Boro and Wednesday, followed by a trip to Luton who are scrapping for their lives.
Then the final three games see trips to Sunderland and Sheffield United. You could all but write them off now.
Sheffield Wednesday - Hull H, Blackburn A, Oxford H, Stoke A, Middlesbrough H, Portsmouth H, Watford A
Wednesday are on the edge and if results go against them on Saturday, you'd say they are virtually out of it.
But, they do have a decent run in. Hull, Blackburn, Oxford and Stoke are winnable. Boro is a tough test, Portsmouth have nothing to play for, so if they do get the results to stay in it it could set up a fantastic final day finale against Watford.
