The French midfielder has earned top plaudits from his manager Unai Emery - and last week it emerged that the club had opened contract negotiations.
His current deal is not due to run out until the summer of 2027 - but The Telegraph reported that Villa were preparing to offer him a new deal.
Now new details have emerged from reports in his native France, that claim the club are preparing a potentially 'historic' contract offer to keep him at the club.
Kamara, who featured in the FA Cup win over Preston at the weekend, is reportedly on the radar of a number of Europe's big clubs.
But Villa want him to remain in the West Midlands, as they fight for honours and a place back in next season's Champions League.
