Walsall defender Oisin McEntee on setbacks, Newcastle United and Rafa Benitez
Setbacks have come in all shapes and sizes for Walsall defender Oisin McEntee but the Irishman always seems to find a way of bouncing back.

At 17, McEntee underwent a double hernia operation and later found himself unable to train for five months at Newcastle United due to the way his heart reacted to Covid-19.
Those early stumbling blocks coupled with a spate of injuries since his arrival at Bescot in 2022 would break most people, but McEntee has refused to let them dampen his spirit.
"I've had some really challenging times but that always makes you stronger," McEntee reflects.
"My mam always tells me that you have so much more experience to other people back at home.
"You've went through tough periods but that just brings you on leaps and bounds."

Indeed, one of his toughest periods was leaving his native Ireland to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer in England.
