Connor Barrett will be eligible for selection against Doncaster Rovers at the Eco-Power Stadium this evening, after serving his two-match suspension, but Asiimwe has seized his chance in his absence.

The Charlton Athletic loanee helped Walsall keep a clean sheet in a goalless stalemate at Gillingham and was arguably the Saddlers' biggest attacking threat in the 1-1 draw against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

There are also questions marks over who will lead the line. Sadler has shuffled his pack in attack after Ellis Harrison was forced to sit out the past two games due to a hamstring injury.

Harrison is in "contention" to make his comeback although it remains unclear whether he will be deemed fit to start.

Danny Johnson was handed his first league start in over 14 months against Wimbledon, while Albert Adomah was given the nod at Gillingham.

Neither had the desired impact in the final third although Levi Amantchi did find the net when replacing Harrison in the draw at Bromley last month.
