The Baggies head coach has made no secret that games at The Hawthorns are where Albion are targeting maximum points to secure their position in the play-offs come May.
Wins and points have been easier to come by in the Black Country of late. Mowbray has racked up four wins from his five home games with no victories in four away from home.
A haul of 34 points have been claimed at The Hawthorns with just 21 on Albion's travels.
Scott Parker's Burnley, who are third and eyeing a top two spot, boast the meanest defence in the country with just 10 goals shipped in 36 Championship fixtures.
Albion's important home win over QPR on Saturday took advantage of rivals dropping points and puts the Baggies in a healthier position to tackle the Clarets, Mowbray feels. The head coach also feels the 1-1 draw at high-flying Leeds two Saturdays ago can inspire his troops.
"We can go to Burnley on Tuesday night with that confidence like we did at Elland Road, almost like a free hit on the back of three points," said Mowbray.
