And just four starts and six games into his career at the club, you can already see why they were so keen to bring him in and spend a decent fee on him.
After two substitute appearances, Price has been a starter in all of Albion’s last four outings, with the latest coming in the superb draw at Leeds United on Saturday.
He hasn't had an unbelievably impressive impact so far, where he has set up a bag of goals and netted himself, but he has shown signs of the player he can become at Albion.
One who can easily take the ball, spots passes, as we saw with his brilliant assist for Alex Mowatt’s goal against Oxford last week.
And we have seen other sides to his game as well, willing to fire into a tackle, wins headers and can do the dirty side of the game.
That hasn't often been seen in players with ‘playmaker’ qualities who have been at Albion in recent years.
