Wolves' win against Bournemouth was without a doubt their biggest result of the season.

There was a lot of pressure going into the game on Vitor Pereira's side. They would have seen a trip to the Vitality Stadium as one of the toughest games they have left this season.

They have a more favourable run of fixtures coming up, but if you head into those matches without picking up results, the pressure becomes enormous.

Beating Aston Villa at home and winning on the south coast, which widens the gap to 18th-placed Ipswich to five points - takes a lot of that pressure off.

I fully expect Wolves to be able to pull away from danger. It was a superb result but an excellent performance - for different reasons.

It was not the scintillating football we have seen from Wolves at times, but it was a controlled and measured performance as they dealt with the situations that were thrust upon them very well.

At the start of the game, playing against a rampant Bournemouth team, they had to withstand some heavy pressure in the opening five or 10 minutes - they looked second best at that point.
