The 31-year-old arrived at Molineux in September 2020 from Barcelona, and he has made more than 150 Premier League appearances during his stint.

The wing-back was named as captain at the back end of 2024, and he has made 24 appearances for Wolves this season across all competitions.

Semedo is out of contract in the summer, and Wolves boss Vitor Pereira has gone on record saying he wants him to stay.

Questions about his future were put to the Portuguese international after the win at Bournemouth at the weekend.

“It's really good to have the confidence from the coach," he said. “I already spoke to him about my situation.

“And we'll see what the future holds. I've been talking with the club.”
