Jose Sa - 7

Made an important save from Kluivert in the first half to keep the scores level. His distribution continues to frustrate, but he handled aerial balls well.

Nelson Semedo - 7

Typical industrious performance from the Wolves captain. Rarely made a mistake, kept it simple and could have put Wolves ahead early, but struck the post.

Matt Doherty - 6

Doc has made the right centre-back slot his own and bar two horrible passes, was very good on the afternoon. But Wolves were lucky not to be punished for either.

Santiago Bueno - 7

Tough task coming in to replace Agbadou and overall put in a commendable effort. Harshly booked early, but recovered well before being replaced by Djiga.

Toti Gomes - 7

Another assured display from the Portuguese international, a couple of misplaced balls, but battled well and kept Ouattara quiet throughout.

Rayan Ait-Nouri - 7

Didn't get forward too much, but this was one of his best defensive displays for quite a while. Tucked in when needed and positioning was sound.

Joao Gomes - 7

Gomes was his typical all-energy self. Won his duels when needed, but committed a needless booking before half-time that forced Vitor Pereira into a change.

Andre - 9

His best performance in a Wolves shirt. The Brazilian international put in a near faultless display and was the key midfield general and disruptor that led the team to a huge win

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - 8

Bellegarde continues to prove people wrong with another excellent shift. Strong, powerful and carrying plenty of threat throughout, another assured display.

Matheus Cunha - 8

He's the talisman and it was another match-winning strike that sealed all three points. Clinical goal and put in a real shift in the second half - a constant outlet.

Marshall Munetsi - 7

Asked to play as an unfamiliar number nine in the first half, but looked far more comfortable dropping back into midfield. Missed another great chance that would have sealed the points.

Subs:

Larsen 7 (for Gomes 45) Djiga 5 (for Bueno 72), Lima (for Ait Nouri 79), Sarabia (for Bellegarde 79), Doyle (for Cunha 88).
