Against a Liverpool side struggling to find their best form, Wolves came close to securing some much-needed points but missed a big chance.

Travelling to face Bournemouth tomorrow will be far from an easy task, but the next few months offer Vitor Pereira's side a massive opportunity to secure their Premier League survival.

The tough run, on paper at least, is over and Wolves can now build on the momentum Pereira has created in fits and starts.

Last time out against the Cherries, Wolves were embarrassed at Molineux with a thumping 4-2 defeat that was even worse than the scoreline suggested.

The starting XI that day is now very different to the one we may see tomorrow, despite some of the same faces making an appearance.

Former boss Gary O'Neil named a back four that had a centre-back pairing of Mario Lemina and Toti Gomes. The former has now left the club and the latter is in his best form of the season on the left of a back three.
