Matt was immediately restored to the starting line-up after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury.

The 35-year-old was replaced by Albert Adomah after Charlie Lakin's 65th-minute opener, before goals from Teddy Bishop and Owuru Edwards helped Colchester come from behind to win.

And Sadler revealed that he is cautious not to overload the experienced frontman, who has scored nine goals this season, as he makes his way back to full fitness.
