The 45-year-old former Birmingham City and Kidderminster Harriers boss, has been strongly linked with a move away from Ewood Park.
Derby County, who sacked Paul Warne last week, have made an official approach for Eustace, who last month was linked with the then vacant manager position at West Brom before Tony Mowbray returned to the club.
According to reports, the Rams have triggered a £500,000 compensation clause on Eustace's contract - and it is understood the Rovers boss is keen to discuss a potential move to Pride Park, where he finished his playing career.
Speaking after Blackburn's 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Wolves on Sunday, Eustace, who is still based in the West Midlands, said: "I’ve come to the club to help rebuild it and help us push up the league and I’ve been very happy here.
“I’ve just come off the pitch and realised they’ve made an official approach so I’m sure Steve and Suhail will want to sit down with me. I’d be disappointed if they didn’t.
“I’m away from my family a lot,” he said. “When I came here, we were on the way down. Now we’re on the way up. It’s just something we’ll have to discuss with the owners and see what happens.”
The former Kidderminster boss has seen his stock rise in recent years, since he helped Birmingham City into the Championship play-off places before being controversially axed and replaced by Wayne Rooney.
He then moved to Ewood Park and helped the club remain in the Championship - with Rovers currently sitting just outside the top six.
