The Brazilian scored Wolves' second in the 2-0 win as Pereira's side comfortably booked their place in the fifth round.
With no more distractions off the field, his new contract sealed and only his football to focus on - the head coach believes he will get the most out of Cunha.
"Fantastic," Pereira said of Cunha's performance.
"I asked Cunha not only to do what he knows to do as a player, but I asked him to help the others to be better.
"This is the real task for him. Playing, attacking, defending, trying to help the team.
"This is the commitment I want to see every match.
"When we signed Cunha (to a new contract) it was like we signed a new player, one more player.
"He can help us a lot, he can decide a game, he can create a chance, he can assist - he can do everything."
The boss is also pleased to see the end of the transfer window, as Wolves focus on their FA Cup journey and Premier League survival.
