Mat Sadler revealed Harry Williams was left on the bench in Walsall's 2-1 defeat at Colchester after struggling with "patella tendonitis" this week.

Williams has struggled in training due to the issue and was rested as a precaution, with the visit of Gillingham to Bescot on Tuesday night in mind.
Walsall suffered a third successive away defeat after Charlie Lakin's opener midway into the second half was cancelled out by quickfire strikes from Teddy Bishop and Owura Edwards, with the latter finding the top corner with a superb strike from distance.
