Albion goalkeeper Alex Palmer will head to Ipswich Town for a medical to complete a £5million deadline day move.

It is understood Albion will move to bring Josh Griffiths, 23, back from his loan spell at League One Bristol Rovers with a view to him taking over the number one position between the sticks.
Pending a successful medical academy graduate Palmer, 28, will seal a switch to the Premier League after making 104 senior appearances as Baggies number one since late 2022.
The club will look to boost their squad with an attacking midfielder before Monday's 11pm deadline.
