Riccardo Calafiori's 74th minute strike separated Wolves and Arsenal at Molineux as they slumped to a disappointing defeat, having played around half-an-hour with an extra player following Myles Lewis-Skelly's sending off.
Wolves have only brought in defender Emmanuel Agbadou so far this season - who had his best game in a gold shirt against the Gunners - but despite defeat, Pereira is adamant they will make more signings before the window closes on February 3 and they will survive relegation.
"I am very confident, very, very confident," Pereira said.
"They (signings) will come and we will reach our goals.
"Next season we will be in the Premier League, I am very confident. I feel that from inside."
Jorgen Strand Larsen went off in the first half with what seemed to be either a hamstring or calf injury, in another major blow to this Wolves side.
When asked about the injury, Pereira is hopeful he will not be sidelined for a long period of time, and used the opportunity to highlight how the squad is light on numbers up front and how he desperately needs a midfield signing.
