Mowbray returned to the club on Friday as he was named the club's new boss, 16 years on since his first spell as the Baggies boss came to an end.

Last week it was confirmed that Mowbray's long serving assistant manager Mark Venus would be coming in with him.

And now the make-up of Mowbray's first team backroom staff has been confirmed, with former Albion midfielder and ex-first team coach Morrison returning to the set-up.

The midfielder, who was signed by Mowbray during his initial spell in charge in 2007, was promoted as a coach under Sam Allardyce before going on to serve under Valerien Ismael and then latterly Steve Bruce.

He remained as part of Carlos Corberan's backroom staff, before moving back to work within the club's academy.

Elsewhere, Boaz Myhill, who has been part of a three pronged interim team will remain with the first team as the new goalkeeper coach, along with Damia Abella, who remains in his first as first team analyst.

Abella has been credited as playing a major role in the interim team that have led Albion since Corberan's departure on Christmas Eve.

As part of other changes to Albion's staff, Chris Brunt who has been at the head of the caretaker management team will go back to his role as head of loans, but has also been handed two other positions.

He will remain in Mowbray's backroom team as 'lead tactical scout', as well as taking on the responsibility of pathways & PDP talent.
