Rodrigo Gomes loving life with starring role for Vitor Pereira's Wolves

Rodrigo Gomes says he is loving his starring role in Vitor Pereira's Wolves side after bagging another goal.

The summer signing, who was underused earlier in the season, started and scored in Pereira's first game in charge as Wolves beat Leicester.

He then dropped out of the side after Rayan Ait-Nouri returned from suspension, before being handed starts at wing-back against Nottingham Forest and in the FA Cup at Bristol City on Saturday.

The 21-year-old netted again in another impressive display, as Wolves made it through to the fourth round.

"It's very good for me, playing since the first day at Leicester," he said.

"I scored and since I've come in every game, and started against Nottingham Forest.

"Now I've played again and scored, so it's very good for me.

"I love to play, to help the team, to score and make assists. I haven't got an assist yet, but I will for sure.

"I love playing and helping the team.
