Chris Brunt, Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill will weigh up how many changes are made for the third round tie against in-form Premier League hosts Bournemouth.

The Cherries are eight games unbeaten in the top flight - five wins and three draws - and a trip to tackle Andoni Iraola's men is among the toughest in the country at the moment, even expecting rotation from the hosts.

Albion will rotate too, as interim head coach Brunt confirmed on Friday morning, in what is expected to be the caretaker team's final fixture in charge.

Brunt said: "Other things will just be precautions and giving people a rest rather than actual injuries. You're always managing that, especially this time of year, there are always lads with niggles and knocks and without wanting to devalue anything this is a chance to get lads off their feet if they need it.

"This club, with the traditions we have in the FA Cup, you can't devalue any game. You want to win any game. But the nature of how the Championship is and the intensity of it, whereas the Premier League is probably a different kettle of fish with the squads they have, they can make six changes and bring six Premier League players in at the end of the day.

"For us it's difficult to try to match the intensity of that, but you have to give lads game time who haven't played and still find the balance of being competitive. Not that you're bringing in players who aren't capable, but it's players who maybe haven't played much football and aren't up to match speed.
