Who Vitor Pereira is set to face in his first six Premier League games as Wolves boss

The 56-year-old is set to sign an 18-month contract at Molineux after Wolves agreed a deal to bring him in as their new head coach - with an announcement expected soon.

Pereira has jetted into the UK to tie up loose ends and compensation has been agreed with his former club Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League. 

Once confirmed, Pereira will be straight into the thick of it as he attempts to lift Wolves out of a relegation dogfight. 

Here's who he'll be up against in his first six games in the Premier League.

Leicester City (a) 22 Dec

Pereira will make his debut in the dugout when Wolves travel to the King Power Stadium to face Ruud Van Nistelrooy's Leicester City. 

Leicester currently sit one place and two points outside of the relegation zone and maximum points for Wolves would see them climb to within three points of their opponents.

Manchester United (h) 26 Dec 

His home debut will see Manchester United visit Molineux looking to make it five wins a row against Wolves. 

The Red Devils have had a mixed start under new boss Ruben Amorim but will be looking to build on their memorable comeback win over local rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur (a) 29 Dec 

Wolves travel to the capital to face Tottenham between Christmas and New Year and will be looking for a repeat of their last visit when they won 2-1 in February this year. 

Tottenham's season has been marred by inconsistency but they ended their recent three-match winless run with a comprehensive 5-0 demolition of Southampton at St Mary's on the weekend.

Nottingham Forest (a) 6 Jan 

Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has transformed Nottingham Forest into surprise early contenders for the Champions League places. 

Forest registered back-to-back wins over Manchester United and Aston Villa to climb above reigning champions Manchester City and into fourth spot.

Newcastle United (a) 15 Jan 

Newcastle slipped into the bottom half with a four-match winless run but returned to winning ways with a resounding 4-0 success over Leicester last weekend. 

Chelsea (a) 20 Jan 

Wolves' trip to Stamford Bridge will be their third in a row after the New Year.

They won 4-2 on their previous visit in February but will be looking to avenge the 6-2 drubbing they were handed at Molineux earlier in the campaign.
