Albion's 12-game unbeaten run came to an end at Vicarage Road as the hosts leapfrogged their visitors into seventh with a 2-1 victory - albeit one with some controversy in the form of Watford's second goal, which Corberan felt contained a foul in the build-up.

The Albion head coach felt his side delivered a decent first half with some opportunities at goal but paid the price for shipping a sloppy opening goal in allowing Vakoun Bayo a free header.

Albion missed a clear chance through Karlan Grant on the stroke of half-time and Corberan felt parity would have been right at the interval.

"It was a difficult defeat to accept. I thought in the first half we created enough goal opportunities to score and they created some transitions that made us suffer in defence," Corberan said.
