It will be interesting to see how Carlos Corberan goes about his Albion selection given some weary limbs.

Wednesday against Coventry City was already a difficult challenge given the visitors came reinvigorated under Frank Lampard before you factor the hosts' squad being tested by a Sunday - Wednesday schedule.

Kyle Bartley had to drop out and was only deemed fit enough for the final 20 minutes. He has ben a linchpin and decisive in the side every time Corberan has used him but given the return from injury and his advancing years, being left out was understandable.

Mason Holgate did well in his place for Albion.

The hope is handing Bartley most of the midweek off he should be OK physically to come in against Watford on Sunday, barring any hiccups. If he is available he is back in my predicted side.

The other head-scratcher comes further forward. Josh Maja's race was run by half-time the other night, the striker was exhausted and it painted the picture of an overreliance on the top scorer this season.

John Swift did well from the bench, which is encouraging for Corberan and the Baggies as we have seen precious little from the attacking midfielder in recent weeks.
