Watford v West Brom: Who's out and who's a doubt
Albion visit play-off chasing rivals Watford on Sunday looking to consolidate their position back in the top six.
Tom Cleverley's Hornets are another side expected to be among the pushers for the position Albion target and the Vicarage Road clash promises to be an interesting gauge of form and potential.
Albion head to Hertfordshire with some weary limbs as seen in Wednesday's win over Coventry, which lifted the Baggies back to sixth. Long-term injury victims are still sidelined but one or two are closing in on a possible return.
We run the rule over the latest fitness news in the Baggies camp after Friday's press conference with Carlos Corberan.
Karlan Grant - hamstring (80 per cent chance of featuring)
Not good news for the Baggies as Corberan rated the side's in-form attacker as a doubt for the trip south.
Grant, like Josh Maja, has played a lot of football and it is understandable that weariness has caught up on the wide forward's muscles.
The head coach was keen to stress Grant is not injured but is just feeling tiredness from the run of games. Corberan did not rule out his involvement.
Grady Diangana - calf (75 per cent chance)
Corberan said on Friday of the attacker and his mysterious long-term calf nerve setback: "Grady has trained today but we have to wait until tomorrow because the previous game trained but the last training before the game he couldn't. We have training today so let's see how he reacts tomorrow. He trained well today but I cannot make any conclusion."
There is some hope Diangana can be on the bench at Watford but that may be worth taking with a pinch of salt given the same optimism before the midweek clash against Coventry. Diangana has not played since before the November international break.
Kyle Bartley - knee (95 per cent chance)
"The fact we made the right decision about Bartley the other day allowed him to have the condition to be in contention, it doesn't mean he is going to play or not, he is available," Corberan said.
Bartley dropped to the bench against Coventry but was turned to for the last 20 minutes and helped his side get over the line.
Corberan confirmed the 33-year-old requires extra recovery time, particularly in the wake of his knee injury, and that was the reason for him dropping out.
Paddy McNair - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
All being well could be in for a return to training in a week or so. Has been out for around six weeks with a hamstring injury. The centre-back's loan expires in the new year.
Daryl Dike - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
The striker will return to training around the turn of the year but no pressure on an expected return will be put on his shoulders after breaking down when returning to training last time out. It remains to be seen which fixtures in January may work for the US international frontman.
Semi Ajayi - hamstring (zero per chance)
Timescale to return given as March if a return to training from serious hamstring setback in February proves OK.
