Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa: Match preview

That was the strong message issued by Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans after back-to-back wins over Brentford and Southampton propelled them into sixth-place. 

Villa will be looking to stretch their winning streak in the league to three games when they travel to the City Ground to face this season's surprise package Nottingham Forest tomorrow. 

Unai Emery's side will also be buoyed by their 3-2 midweek victory against RB Leipzig in Germany as they aim to leapfrog Forest who they head into the weekend locked on 25 points with. 

But Tielemans has warned that the ever changing nature of the Premier League shows that nothing will be handed to them. 

He said: "Before we won the two games against Brentford and Southampton, I think we were 12th. 

"Now, we're up to sixth. We just need to carry on, we'll see what happens. 

"It's always going to move. It's going to change every week because it's that tight. 

"This season, every team is really competitive. There's no team that just leaves you to it and lets you play in or gives up in any part of the game."

The latest pair of victories in the Premier League has helped lift Villa out of a difficult spell of form which featured three defeats in a four-match winless league run.

Jhon Duran seized his chance in the starting XI with the winning goal against Southampton last weekend and then came off the bench to score again with a stunning strike from distance in Leipzig on Tuesday. 

Ollie Watkins made way for him at half-time of the midweek trip to the Red Bull Arena with a "small injury" and could be absent this weekend.​

Meanwhile, Forest continued their remarkable early season success by claiming their first win at Old Trafford in 30 years with a 3-2 victory over Ruben Amorim's charges last weekend. 

Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been the mastermind behind Forest's storming start which has taken them to within two points of the top four.
