Paul Blackett opened the scoring inside 12 minutes before Martin Smith doubled the hosts' advantage six minutes later.

Blackett scored twice in nine minutes to complete his hat-trick before the break and Tom Allan applied salt into gaping wounds with an eight-minute brace.

Iestyn Hughes added a seventh in stoppage time as the Pics were left eight points adrift of safety.

Halesowen saw their six-match unbeaten run come to an end in the Southern Central after they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Royston Town.

Ben Weyman scored a dramatic 89th-minute winner as Halesowen missed the chance to move level on points with league leaders Kettering Town.

Chasetown climbed into the final play-off spot in the Northern West after extending their winning streak to four games with a 2-0 victory over Wythenshawe at the Scholars Ground.

Danny Glover volleyed home the opener inside 16 minutes and Danny O'Callaghan put the seal on the win in stoppage time to propel Chasetown into fifth-place.

That meant Hednesford, who have played two games more than Chasetown, trail them by four points in eighth after drawing 1-1 against Avro at the Vestacare Stadium.

The Pitmen went ahead after 16 minutes through an own goal by Dean Smalley before AJ Warburton levelled for Avro just before the half-hour mark.

Sporting Khalsa, who sit fourth in the Northern Midlands, were condemned to a third straight league defeat after losing 2-1 at home to Anstey Nomads.

Jacob Fenton scored a first half opener for Nomads before Simeon Cobourne equalised 21 minutes from time. But Nomads took less than a minute to restore their advantage when Zayn Hakeem scored to confirm Khalsa's sixth defeat in seven games.
