The discomfort in his groin has affected the Republic of Ireland international midfielder's ability to train regularly and Molumby was only a substitute in Saturday's draw at Preston.

The 25-year-old was restricted to only training on Friday ahead of the trip to Deepdale and boss Carlos Corberan selected on-loan midfielder Uros Racic to partner Alex Mowatt.

Molumby added some welcome drive to Albion when introduced as a substitute midway through the second half as Albion once again had to make do with a share of the spoils - extending their record to nine draws in the last 10 games.

Corberan also confirmed defender Torbjorn Heggem, who shuffled back across to left-back for the clash in Lancashire, had been feeling unwell.
