The Wulfs have won all four Midland League Premier Division fixtures so far this month, though they did get knocked out of the Birmingham Senior Cup in midweek.

The success comes off the back new arrivals Samuel Arnold, Angelo Franco, Zacharias Kourouyianni and Ashanti Price slotting into manager John Griffiths’ side well.

He said: “We've recruited quite well, I'd say in the last month, which has been key to us turning the corner to be honest.”

They’ve moved up to 13th, while Uttoxeter are currently out of the drop zone on goal difference alone.

“That was one of our main objectives really, to not be in and around a relegation battle. I mean, we've got a big one coming up this weekend against Uttoxeter which is a huge game.

“Hopefully we can get quite a few people through the gate and try and get a bit of support behind the lads and then start looking up the table, as opposed to behind us.”

Lichfield City’s run of tough fixtures continues as they defend the top spot. Having fended off fourth-placed Whitchurch Alport, they now face third-placed Shifnal Town.

Four points behind them, top-scorers Brocton are at home against Studley.

After four postponed fixtures, Dudley Town will hopefully travel to relegation-threatened Highgate United, while Tividale have a tough fixture away to 1874 Northwich.

A win for Stone Old Alleynians could see them break into the top four, as they host seventh-placed Atherstone Town.

Stourport Swifts are favourites at home to bottom side Wolverhampton Casuals, while OJM Black Country host Northwich Victoria.

Second-placed Bilston Town are away to Midland One leaders Nuneaton Town, who won the reverse fixture only three weeks ago.

Smethwick Rangers are visited by Birstall United Social as Rangers look to keep in the title race.

Wednesfield have a tough match against Kirby Muxloe, Cradley Town travel to a strong Leicester St Andrews side and Gornal Athletic are at Saffron Dynamo.

Stafford Town will be looking to stay ahead of the chasing pack as they top North West Counties Division One South going into their match at mid-table Eccleshall.

After earning seven points from their last nine available, Wolves Sporting are at fourth-placed Sandbach United.

Hellenic League Division One side Bewdley Town will want to break their winless league streak stretching back to September ahead of visiting Clanfield 85.
