Unai Emery discusses Morgan Rogers' new contract
Not many people would have had a better 2024 than Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
The 22-year-old only joined Villa in January from Middlesborough in a deal worth £8 million.
Since then, he has scored his first goal, finished fourth in the Premier League, played in the Champions League, made his international debut and only this week he signed a contract to keep him at the club until 2030.
The Halesowen-born youngster still has so much of his career ahead of him and Villa boss Unai Emery says there is still work to do but he deserves the recognition he is getting from club and country at the moment.
"It is fantastic," the Villa manager said about Rogers' new contract. "Morgan Rogers joined here with us eight months ago in January, and his progression has been fantastic.
