The Spaniard has started the last two Premier League games as a reward for his impact off the bench against Brighton in the game prior, which were his first league minutes in two months.
Despite scoring within two minutes against Southampton, O'Neil says he will need to be careful when he picks Sarabia due to his physical shortcomings.
"He is very robust and he is a confident boy," O'Neil said.
"He backs himself to impact football matches. He helps us with the ball and Pablo is ready.
