Albion's troubling run of seven games without a win is providing boss Carlos Corberan with the biggest questions of his Hawthorns career to date.

Friday night's 1-1 draw at Luton was a fifth draw on the spin as the visitors were unable to build on a late first-half lead and the lowly Hatters struck back after the interval.

We have a look at some of the topics of debate from the latest draw at Kenilworth Road.

Odd game of two halves

There is no escaping just how poor Albion were in that first half. They looked nothing like scoring and Josh Maja's opener on the stroke of half-time was about the first time they troubled Luton's box.

The Hatters were not much better, it was a low bar of quality. Though the hosts did make a few half-chances.

It has to go down as a real concern that Albion players looked lost when it came to carrying out out the head coach's pre-match instructions.

The irony was that the visitors conceded in a second half in which they improved. The Baggies were better in an even second period with chances for both - but ideally it should not have to take a half-time debrief and reorganisation to click into gear.
