Hobbs was charged by the governing body in the wake of Wolves' 2-1 loss to Manchester City last month, in which the Premier League champions scored a controversial 95th minute winner following VAR intervention.

After Hobbs 'admitted to the charge' for his behaviour towards the officials in the tunnel at Molineux, he will now not be allowed into the stadium for the upcoming home games against Crystal Palace and Southampton.

The FA statement read: "A two-match ground ban and £7,000 fine has been imposed on the sporting director of Wolverhampton Wanderers for misconduct at their Premier League match on Sunday 20 October against Manchester City.
