The Baggies had a chance to end their six-game winless streak as Josh Maja backheeled in a fine opener on the stroke of half-time but Tahith Chong equalised on the hour following an Alex Mowatt error.

It made it five draws on the spin for Corberan's men, who are without a win since September 21.

The visitors did not settle for a point late on and matched their struggling hosts in pushing for a winner after an improved second-half despite being pegged back. The first half proved a struggle for Albion, who did not threaten the Hatters' backline until Maja struck.

Corberan said:  "I've never had this run of draws in the Championship. My first year with Huddersfield was complicated because there were more defeats and not a lot of wins.
