Campbell had cause for a double celebration as he grabbed the glory by just over three ounces for a Golden Peg win on peg eight.
His 3-6-8 top catch consisted of mainly roach to 7oz, caught on the long pole with bread punch, backed-up by a few small worm-tempted perch.
Wolverhampton anglers followed with Barry Jones taking second on peg three, where he pole-fished bread punch, pinkies and worm for 3-3-0 of small roach and perch. Johnny Benness was third with four caster-roach, plus perch and gudgeon at peg six.
