FC show off Premier class in final thriller

Extra-time goals from Ben Johnson and Elliot Millward secured a thrilling victory for FC Premier in their Under-21 League Cup final with Azaad Sports.

After a brace from Kyle Thorp had turned the tie in Premier's favour, following Ajay Nawar's opener for Azaad, Josh Webb's late equaliser for Azaad Sports had sent the game into an extra period where Johnson and Millward struck to a memorable win.

The latter was also on the mark as Premier followed it up with a 3-3 league draw against Penkridge. Brad Coward and and Hayden Bowyer got the other goals for Premier with Kane Matthews, Scott Gill and Lewis Franks all netting for Penkridge.

In the Under-18s league, a late strike from Ezekiel Agemang earned Heath Town United a point in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Wyrley Juniors Wolves.

Kane Matthews, Scott Gill and Lewis Franks all netted for Wyrley but a brace from Shane Hall ensured Heath Town were always in the game.

Under-17s

Nathan Griffiths and Lewis Green were among the scorers as Old Hall Eagles flew to a 6-0 win at Lane Head Rangers in the Premier Division. Ryan Dolphin scored four and Jack Johnson got two as Great Barr Harriers won 6-1 at home to Penkridge Juniors in Division One.

Tom Stone, Will Trotman and Sam Draper earned Berkswich Athletic a 3-0 win away at Great Barr Athletic, while Wednesfield FC were 7-1 winners over Bloxwich Rangers, Jordan Lowell netting a hat-trick, with Liam Davies and Luke Mainwood scoring two each.

Under-16s

Coven United went goal crazy with a 15-0 home win over Tipton Youth.

George Davis led the scoring with four goals, while there was a hat-trick for Levi Matthews and two each for Tyrique Douglas and Oskar Ramotowski. The scoring was completed by goals from Ashley Saunders, Reuben Aldridge, Jackson Game and Liam Harris.

Silverdale Vipers enjoyed a 5-3 home win over New Park Village. Dan Bishop and Mitchell Bradford both hit doubles, while the win was completed with a goal from Sam Halifax. Daniel Turton, Alex Footman and Nazar Timar were meanwhile on target for New Park.

Five separate scorers helped Wednesbury Sports Union to a 5-0 home win over AFC Bilston, as Blake Archer, Jordan Henry, Joshua Atkins, Reuben Ahmed and Bailey Louth all found the net.

In Division One, Josh O'Toole scored four as Wood Green Athletic ran out 11-0 winners at Salisbury Rangers, Lewis Richards also getting two.

Gunners FC were 7-0 winners at Punjab United, while Wednesbury Sports Union Rangers enjoyed a 4-1 win at Cresswell Wanderers thanks to Owen Davis's hat trick and a goal from Liam Dawson.

Oliver Jones scored twice as Charles United beat Sedgley White Lions 6-1. Jacobi Linton, Bradley Finch, Christian Keay and Connor Beasley were also on the mark.

Under-15s

Rostance Edwards marched into the last four of the Premier Division Charity Cup with a 7-0 home win over St Joseph's Colts.

Craig Jennings scored four, with Adam Toddington, Brandon Herkes and Joe Baker also finding the net. They were joined in the next round by Gunners FC who claimed victory in equally impressive style with a 9-3 win over Black Country Ravens.

Joshua Smallwood scored four for the Gunners while Itai Allen scored a hat-trick.

New Park Village are also through after a 5-2 win at Old Wulfrunians South, thanks to goals from Matthew Garbett, Harry Bell, Brian Asante, and Isaac Matongo, who netted a double.

The semi-final line-up is completed by Silverdale Spartans, who beat Old Wulfunians North 4-2 in a far tighter affair.

Goals from Kane Lewin, Beckham Brazier and a brace from Lewis Wyse secured the win, with Ben Broxton and Tyler Mills on target for the visitors.

In Division One, Bustleholme edged a seven-goal thriller with Bloxwich Rangers thanks to goals from Devante Williams, Zac Price, Jamal Lewis and Callum Smith.

There was joy for St Joseph Saints as braces from Jordan Winkle and Ben Styles secured a 4-1 win over Sedgley White Lions, while Silverdale Strikers hit four without reply in their derby with Silverdale Eagles.

Bentley Community Warriors and Ashmore Park Rangers played out a 2-2 draw while, in Division Two, Great Barr Harriers edged a 3-2 win at Springvale Steelers and Wyrley Colts and Woden Warriors shared the points with a 1-1 draw.

Under-13s

Springvale Pumas hit a baker's dozen to secure victory in the Merit Shield with a 13-1 win at Wednesfield and Wood End RBL. Josh Lewis was the pick of the strikers, netting four. Jack Snoddy also fired in a hat-trick and Brandon Sellick a brace, while Sundeep Dhaliwal, Jake Edwards, Josh Kilford and James Guest were also on the mark.

Wednesbury Sports Union were also big winners as they recorded an 11-1 victory at home to Springvale Cougars. Jamie Chappell and Hayden Jarrett both grabbed hat-tricks, Cassius Johnson and Cameron Martin added a brace apiece, before Cieran Edwards completed the scoring.

In the Premier Division, Sedgley White Lions were another side to find their shooting boots, recording a 12-2 home win over Punjab United.

Tierre Lindo-McKenzie led the scoring with five goals, while three more were added by Denis Okoduwa. Juan Dhir got on the act with a brace before Neco Brown and Dan Hickman rounded off the win. Munrajan Rai and Dylan Gill hit back with consolations for Punjab.

New Park Village ran out 4-1 winners at Coven United thanks to goals from Connor Benton, Samuel Okyere-Darco and a brace from Dante Hawthorne.

Druid FC, meanwhile, mounted a stirring second-half comeback to claim a 4-2 win in their Division One clash against FC Perton. Trailing to Ethan Jones' first-half opener, George Asbury led the Druid revival with a brace, while Josh Adkins and Daniel Mills also netted as Perton had only a Guillaume Thomas strike to show for their second-half efforts.

Under-12s

There were just three fixtures in the league – but they delivered three emphatic wins and no fewer than 25 goals.

Sedgley White Lions led the way with an 11-0 home victory over AFC Willenhall. Jake Deakin scored four, while Joe Deakin chipped in with a hat-trick, Travis Pitt added a brace and Cameron Steventon and Ben Field both found the net.

Elsewhere, AFC Woodcross enjoyed a 9-0 victory away at Punjab United, with both Hope Nkengo and Callum Dean grabbing hat-tricks. Additional goals came from Sam Morrison, Thomas Benton and Kerim Ayas.

St Joseph's Colts also enjoyed an away-day victory, winning 5-0 at Wednesfield FC, courtesy of goals from Finlay Small, Basil Rasaq, Ollie Foster and a double from Cameron Sheldon.

Under-11s

Punjab United ran out 5-3 winners at Bloxwich Rangers in the one Winter League game played. Jay Singh, Aman Matharu, Ben Rowley and Godspower Johnson were among the scorers while Bloxwich hit back with goals from Tanias Brown, Owen Evans and Bode Hinks.

In the one Development game played, Devante Jackson's goal secured a 1-0 win for New Park Village over Springvale Steelers Wolves.
