Wolverhampton's Emerald Club will host PDC darts stars Terry Jenkins and Andy Smith for an exhibition at the start of next month.

Jenkins and Smith will step up to the oche at the club on Cross Street North as part of an evening's entertainment on Friday May 4.

The two are regulars on the circuit and, in the case of Jenkins, frequently a contender in the major televised tournaments.

'The Bull' – ranked number 11 in the world – reached the quarter-finals of this year's World Championship, losing to Adrian Lewis.

West Midlands darts fans will remember his exploits at the Grand Slam at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, where he was runner-up to Phil Taylor in 2008.

Hometown hero Wayne Jones also saw his Grand Slam dreams ended last November by Jenkins, coming from 8-6 to win 10-8 in the second round.

World number 20 Smith is an up-and-comer but caught the eye in last December's Players Championship finals, getting to the quarter-finals.

His previous career-best was the same stage of the World Grand Prix in 2006 and 2009 and 'Pie Man' is still capable of turning on the style.

And 28 punters in the audience will get the chance to play the pros, if they are drawn out of a hat by their ticket numbers.

They will be playing singles and doubles legs against the locals on the night and could also win prizes, in the style of TV show Bullseye.

'Bully's Prize Board' will be exhumed for the night and where the arrows land will decide who takes what of the items on offer.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s and can be purchased by calling 07584 632 628.
