Five top pro darters will represent their respective countries in a Nations Cup tournament to be held in Wolverhampton next month.

Wales' Mark Webster, Scotland's Robert Thornton and Australia's Paul Nicholson will join English duo Arron Monk and Tony O'Shea at the Cleveland Arms pub, Stowheath Lane, on June 1.

Webster is a Premier League darts player and is knocking on the door to the PDC world top 10, while Monk is the organisation's current world under-21 champion.

They are joined by PDC pro and ex-BDO World Masters winner Thornton, self-styled bad boy Nicholson and BDO world cup winner O'Shea.

The famous five will first take on local players drawn at random by the number on their tickets, playing four punters apiece.

They will compete against each other in a round robin tournament to decide the top dog on the night, in every combination possible, to decide an outright winner.

In this run, two points will be scored for a win, one for a draw and nothing for a loss, playing first to three legs.

Tickets for the night are £10 each or four for £35 and be purchased by calling 01902 451 021.
