Chasetown manager Charlie Blakemore has added another to the squad with the signing of midfielder Richard Batchelor from local rivals Romulus.
The 20-year-old caught the eye of the Scholars' boss with his displays against them last season and he believes the former Alvechurch youngster has the right credentials to be a force at the Scholars Ground.
He said: "Richard is a great signing for Chasetown. He has a steely determination, is a very competitive midfielder and is not fazed by anything. He will bring energy and tenacity to the side and I believe we have signed a future gem here.
"We have several young players in the squad, who all have fantastic potential and they will be playing with some very good experienced players who will help them all develop further."
Blakemore has already landed Adie Smith from Tamworth, Sean Platt from Willenhall Town, the welcome return of Vaughan Thomas from AFC Telford United and Wayne Dyer from Hinckley United.
