LETTER: Funeral directors under pressure
A reader says we should spare a thought for funeral directors.

Well done to the NHS and carers everywhere, but, can you also give a thought to funeral directors who are having to cope with an unprecedented number of funerals, caring for families and their loved ones?
As a family of funeral directors in Netherton, run by our son and son-in-law, it has been very difficult telling families that they cannot see their loved one for one last time, or have no more than ten present at the service, but they, and their wonderful support staff, are coming through the crisis with not inconsiderable risk to their own welfare and that of their families.
So, thanks to them and all other funeral directors.
Mrs Veronica Roberts, Netherton
