Anything to say on HS2?

First he pats himself on the back for the possible re-location of D X Freight from Essington, loss of jobs and revenue to the area. What is it about Essington? Only claim to fame – fruit farm and a boot sale.

Now he wades in with his support against further industrial development to create 8,500 jobs plus by ‘Four Ashes Ltd’ a proposal to create a rail/road freight hub – much-needed.

I do so hope Four Ashes are successful led by Peter Frost, oh, Peter as a former lorry driver please don’t forget a good hard surface LGV park and good food and ancillary services for drivers.

Memo to Mr Williamson – what about the carnage caused by HS2, or have you been told to keep quiet about this white elephant?
