Rail line blocked towards Birmingham after thieves rip cable from tracks
Signalling cables have been ripped from the tracks by thieves between Birmingham Snow Hill and Tyseley affecting spectators travelling to Alexandra Stadium for the Games.
West Midlands Railway say the line is currently blocked.
It will impact on spectators visiting Alexander Stadium today for the athletics.
The rail company say tickets will be accepted with Midland Metro between Grand Central and West Bromwich Central and with National Express West Midlands Buses.
