Black ice blamed as lorry and car crash on A442 in Kidderminster
Emergency services attended a collision on Bridgnorth Road, in Kidderminster, today after a lorry and a car collided, thought to be due to black ice.
Highways teams have been requested to grit the roadway, but the A442 is currently closed in both directions.
One woman was treated by paramedics for shock after the incident at around 8.20am.
Ice on the roads on Old Park Road, in Wrens Nest, Dudley, has caused disruption to bus services, meaning routes 27/27A, 81 and 82 are currently following a diversion.
All other services are currently running as normal this morning.
It is thought that more snow may be on the way tomorrow.

Met Office chief meteorologist Paul Gundersen said: "An Atlantic frontal system looks likely to bring a mixture of rain, sleet and snow to parts of southern England and south Wales on Wednesday, but the extent of any snow is very uncertain.
"There is then a risk of further snow moving south across Scotland, northern England and the Midlands on Thursday."
A flood warning today remains in place for the River Severn at Quatford - with flooding expected and immediate action required.
Meanwhile, flood alerts are in place for the River Sow and River Penk and the River Severn in Shropshire and Worcestershire.
David Williams, Staffordshire County Council’s cabinet member for highways and transport, said it is vital that people drive with extra care in accordance with the conditions.
He said: “Our gritting teams are working hard through these conditions to keep Staffordshire moving but we are reminding people to drive with extra care.
“We are expecting the cold weather to continue throughout this week with icy roads and the chance of snow.
"Our fleet of 40 gritters have been busy over the last few nights and will continue to work hard throughout this week with more sub-zero temperatures forecast.
“People should only drive if absolutely necessary – we want people to have a safe and enjoyable remainder of the holiday period.”
