Delays as crash closes one lane on M54
Traffic was delayed after a crash on the M54 this morning.
The crash happened at about 7.45am, westbound between Junction 2 for the A41 near Wolverhampton and Junction 3 near Albrighton.
Traffic officers attended the collision which closed one lane.
All lanes have been opened but speed restrictions were in place, with delays stretching back to Wolverhampton.
Highways England tweeted the incident, posting: "Lane two (of two) is currently closed #M54 Northbound between J2 #CovenHeath and J3 #Tong due to a collision.
"@HighwaysWMIDS #TrafficOfficers are en route. There are delays on approach."
The highways agency later tweeted: "All lanes are now open on the #M54 northbound between J2 #CovenHeath and J3 #Tong. Speeds remain on approach."
