WHG hopes to build six two bedroom homes and four maisonettes off Castelfort Road in Walsall where garages once stood.
Since the removal of the garages, the site has fallen into dilapidation and suffers significantly from flytipping and antisocial behaviour.
The project site is bordered by the rear gardens of homes facing Castlefort Road to the north, Salters Road to the west, Castle Road to the south.
If approved by Walsall Council, the homes will be delivered with 17 parking spaces, two for each of the two bedrooms homes, one space each for the maisonettes, and one visitor space.
Electric vehicle charging will be provided where possible.

Access to the site will be from Castlefort Road. A turning circle will be created to allow refused and emergency services vehicles to manoeuvre on the site when necessary.
It’s the second application submitted by WHG to build homes on the site.
In 2022, plans were submitted to build five pairs of semi-detached two-storey homes, but the application was later withdrawn.
On the latest application, agent Ridge and Partners LLP said: “The developments are designed to increase the housing availability in Walsall whilst transforming redundant ‘infill’ sites which are now disused and have fallen into disrepair.
“It is important to WHG that the scheme adds value to the wider community and becomes a sustainable place to live that is sensitive to social needs and enriches the broader community.
“The proposed development will provide many benefits to the area and provide additional homes to the community.”
