New Aldi branch to create 40 new jobs in Willenhall
Aldi will build and open a new supermarket on derelict land off a busy road after planners approved the scheme.

The discount supermarket will be constructed off The Keyway, Willenhall, at its junction with New Street.
It will occupy a site where there was once two tower blocks but has since become overgrown – and create 40 new jobs.
The supermarket scheme received unanimous approval from members of Wolverhampton council's planning committee this week.
But several councillors urged Aldi to meet with staff at neighbouring garage Pole Position, in South Street, who have concerns about the impact the supermarket will have on their business.

Owner Sha Walters fears a link road to the supermarket off New Street would make operating his business impossible.
Aldi has committed itself to providing three parking spaces for use by the garage but Mr Walters said his business requires between six and 10.
He believes the problem could be easily resolved by changing the road design and is keen to meet with Aldi bosses.
Speaking after the meeting, he said: "I spoke to their representatives and they seemed receptive to the idea of sitting down together. I am awaiting a date for that to happen.
"I am really looking forward to moving towards a solution that is positive for both of us."

Councillor Phil Page was one of the committee members who backed the scheme but urged Aldi bosses to meet with Mr Walters.
He said: "This site has been a blight on the landscape for many years. It was a blight when it was multi-storey blocks which were there previously.
"Therefore this development has many advantages for that part of the city and the beautification of Wolverhampton."
Hamish Latchem, Regional Property Director for Aldi, said: "We have provided three car spaces for Pole Position and I would point out we were not obliged to."
